She is the main character of this comic, twenty years old and still studying at Jayakarta University majoring in Visual Art. She works as a comic artist. Nana loves drawing, video game, comics, and smokes a lot (bad habit, don’t try that at home). She doesn’t scare to almost anything… except roaches, and her editor from publisher of her comic.
Dani is bald, not so gorgeous, but somehow he is sooo confidence with himself, and gets overconfidence sometimes. He lives in the same house with Nana and friends and the only guy in that house. He is also Nana’s classmate. Dani is a type of guy who talks active and fussy, a little bit morons and clumsy, but actually he is a good guy and really care with his friends.
As a Communication student, she believes that looks is everything. She love to use make up, fine dress, even it’s an imitation dresses. Apel is a little bit fussy, also materialistic and childish. But she actually could act mature and think wisely, in fact, she is the most mature person between Nana and all. Apel is really confident with herself. No wonder, she is sexy and beautiful, yet fashionable. Those pluses cover her fussiness and stubborn.
Indah only seventeen years old but she has already study at Jayakarta University majoring in physics, it’s because she is a genius with IQ almost two hundred. Indah is always good in almost everything. You name it, math, literary, art, science, IT, music, etc. She really loves to reading and studying. Her biggest interest beside science is history if Indonesia and the arts.
Jojo is the only one who doesn’t live in the same flat with Nana and the others. He lives with his parents in a big house on an elite household. Jojo was born with silver spoon in his mouth. Handsome, rich, cool a picture of a perfect guy. But actually, he doesn’t really give a damn about the entire thing he has. Jojo enjoy his live as it is, he is simple and humble. Don’t get it wrong with his looks, even he looks cool and gorgeous, actually he is a clown type, a little bit dumb and slow thinking. He loves to act silly and saying stupid things.
Macangadungan Studio is a group of people who really concern with the development of visual art in Indonesia. Macangadungan Studio was established in 2006 July, with Maria Leonietha as the founder. We are majoring in illustration, and recently get involved in movement to raise Indonesia’s comics.
“Halo, Nana!” Web Comic is one of our projects to promote and raise Indonesia’s comics. We also held many festivals, competitions, and makes and distribute many title of indie comics.
